A simple path between greek settlements, where an encounter might occur!

There is an altar to a god not too far from the path, so that travellers might make offerings on their journey.

But there is a dark shadow over this altar... common folk swear that they sometimes hear a faint screaming when they come to make their offerings. And villagers from the nearby town say that people who make offerings at the altar occasionally disappear...
