In Neverwitner there was once a large chasm that was created when Mount Hotenow erupted as a result of Magera, the Dawn Titan, raging from beneath Guantgrym. Thereafter, a host of Neverwinterian spell casters closed up the chasm which left the surface scared. But benieath the Scar still lie several untamed caves and caverns that are occupied by more than a few nefarious and other worldly beings. This is one such cave.
