The map works well with aerial enemies that can control the open spaces, ranged units that can take shots from the side platforms, and - of course - some powerful threat moving inexorably up the bridge.

If you want to give your players a little bit of the advantage back, the mist clouds can serve as soft cover, and any red pipes or canisters look extremely explode-able.
