Sky Temple
Description
This map is based on the Sky Fortress/Sky Temple from Final Fantasy 1, an end game dungeon. Can be plugged into a campaign or used as a one-shot. At the top rests Tiamat, a major story boss. The temple was built by an advanced and extinct nation, far more advanced than the rest of the standard D&D world, to house & protect the wind orb/crystal, source of their power & magic. Thus you need a sky ship to reach it, it uses thick metal/automatic doors, is highly defensible, has traps & defenses for intruders, and uses teleporters to move from floor to floor. Many of the hallways & doors are large due to my players having mounts (including a T-Rex...)

The temple can only be entered via one of the docks, from there the players have to fight their way up. It's filled with advanced constructs, dangerous creatures kept in statis, and advanced technology & traps. While the temple/fortress is meant to be massive, to keep things more time efficient in real life, on the second floor, the players are led to a hidden room by a construct, the last built by the temple's makers. It is able to teleport them near the top of the temple, so they only have to clear 2 floors and fight the boss at the shrine. They are meant to be able to clear the dungeon in one adventuring day, with only 2 short rests. My players were at the end of the dungeon & decked out in magic items, so I didn't intend for there to be any magic items for them to find, only some healing items given by the construct.
