This is a small tavern/gathering place in a forest or a swamp. It is built off the ground supported by a tree as there are many dangers at night at the floor level of the forest/swamp, or if in a swamp the ground is not conducive to solid structures.

The ground level is the forest floor, the 1st level is the tavern level accessible by trapdoors and ladders/ropes, the second level is an observation deck level for lookouts or those discussions that must take place in a more private manner if the guard/bartender is tipped just right. There are also two living structures accessible by a walkway from the tavern, or via their own escape hatches. Some rooms house the employees of the tavern, other house travelers or adventurers.

Some rooms are more luxurious, while most are cheap and you get what you pay for, and a roof over your head. There is also a very inexpensive set of rooms dug into the ground under the main tavern that is accessible via a partially hidden hatch. Those that search through the storage room may find a hidden door that accesses a tunnel that leads to a hidden dungeon. It this dungeon run by the tavern keeper, or has someone else hid their evil deals in the middle of this rest spot?
