This is a section of my mage tower that was destroyed or at least damaged by a falling star. The rift magic of the tower is holding it together in an unstable energy field. This section used to be the upper stacks of the mage library. Pieces of wall and floor and bookcase float at different levels, defying gravity. The pieces are held together by arcane energy, which may have wild magic effects if adventurers get sloppy jumping from platform to platform, or flying through. Monstrous creatures from stories in the books floating here have been known to be apparated into existence when the energy here is disturbed. Good place for adventurers to look for a lost tome on one of the shelves, or the traverse to get to the stairs that lead to the rift nexus itself.
