This is the ruins outside of the Sapphire Sun Mage Academy tower in Cliffrun. A few of the ruins are still habitable and are used by locals or adventurers as a jumping-off point as they try to enter the mysterious mage tower. The tower itself was struck by a falling star sometime in the past and has been on lockdown ever since. Stories are told about adventurers who have been able to break/sneak in, but no one has ever met one of them.

The entrance to the tower is protected by the many statues. If one crosses the pillars or walks on the path past the set of stairs, they activate and destroy all those in the area until whatever means for entering the tower are presented.
